Co-founder of TunInvest-AfricInvest Group. He has over 17 years of experience in the private equity industry both in the Maghreb region and in Sub-Saharan Africa. As Tuninvest’s Executive Partner, Aziz has participated in raising around $500 million in private equity funds as well as structuring and executing several equity transactions on the investment and divestment sides. He acts as a board member for certain investee companies in the Maghreb region, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. Prior to co-founding Tuninvest Finance Group, Aziz was the General Manager of two industrial companies, ILVA Maghreb and Tunisacier International (which are affiliates of ILVA, a large Italian conglomerate), having held various management positions in these companies since 1988. Aziz is a graduate of the engineering school École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France.
