The AfricInvest-TunInvest group is mainly targeting growth capital investments in SMEs that are well-established and positioned in their local market with the potential to scale up their activities on the regional level to build them into “regional champions”. We target significant minority (without excluding majority) positions, while adopting a hands on monitoring approach centered around effective value addition. This, combined with our medium to long term view (4-6 year holding period), is consistent with the real needs of African SMEs. We bring significant added value to our investee companies by:

• Strengthening their managerial teams and aligning the interests of all shareholders with those of management.
• Enhancing corporate governance, financial reporting, and transparency.
• Assisting the management in developing innovative strategies and in expanding the business regionally to transform the company into a “regional champion”.
• Creating synergies by leveraging our extensive network throughout Africa.
